Designers love Flash. No question about it. I love it because I get to use both sides of my brain to create something visually appealing and cleverly interactive.
SIH OB Playroom
Southern Illinois Healthcare wanted an interactive nursery to promote their OB department. I created the layout and illustrations in Photoshop, and then animated and programmed the Playroom in Flash. The other team members created the videos, audio files, and HTML popups.
Maxim / Bud Light Exposure intro
The intro to the Maxim / Bud Light Exposure web site in 2005. I was provided with a few of the graphical elements, but I did the storyboarding, animation, programming, and music. We also did a remix of sorts in 2006.
"Flextray Man" Animations
Flextray, a cable management company, wanted to create an animated character to make their brand "edgier." I illustrated and animated a series of 10 scenes that are featured on their new site. View more animations
Sticko Home Page Animation
These movies show off some of the services to members of the Sticko web site. There are four total animations in this movie, but I'm only showing the left or right side at any time to reduce "busyness".
WOW Network Demo
I made this flash demo with a minimal amount of direction: only a logo and a script. The idea to draw in the logo was my idea, as was all of the animation.
Promotion Flash Intro
This whole project was done in about 3 weeks, with help from a few other team members for photography and image preparation. The client wanted something that was a little crazy and that built upon their slogan 'Action That Gets A Reaction.' I storyboarded my concept out, chose an artistic style that would allow us to complete the project on a budget in a short amount of time, and programmed and sequenced the whole project in Flash.

Lori Coulter Demo
This demo's purpose was to convince potential investors of the money-making abilities of Lori Coulter's business plan. Her plan centers around scanning in the body measurements of women and creating customized swimsuits based on those measurements.
Charter Nascar Popup Ad
Going off of a storyboard created by Brighton Agency, I had to make a racing car tear through the screen of Charter Communications' web site. I had to figure out the ins and outs of Flash's transparency and how to remove most of the movie from memory when the popup "closed". The whole project took me about 3-4 days, the latter part being spent working on client revisions.
