About Me
Well, let's see. I'm a web and multimedia designer currently living in Tallahassee, FL. We moved here from Herrin, IL in 2003 so that my girlfriend could get her PhD at FSU. So far, we're in love with Tallahassee.
My current profession has little to do with my BA. After pondering degrees in Computer Science and English, I finally decided to finish up at SIU-C with a Bachelor's in Radio & TV. During the summer of 1998, I was lucky enough to intern on the now defunct show Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher. Something happened along the way, and instead of writing for Hollywood I ended up designing web sites. I love my profession, though, so everything worked out nicely in the end.
But enough about my career. Let's talk about non-professional Brad. I am a big video game fanatic and an avid reader of both comic books and other fiction (Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, etc.). If I have a surplus of creativity after a hard day's work, I spend it writing electronic music and short fiction. I love music, and my favorite bands are Air, Underworld, Orbital, Stereolab and various lounge / indie rock / electronic artists. My favorite film directors are Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorcese, the Coen Brothers, Tim Burton, and David Lynch. I'm currently watching Lost and Heroes and always watching The Daily Show.
Anyone who wants to track me down in Tallahassee could find me getting our dogs some exercise at the Tom Brown dog park, golfing (badly) at Cross Creek, or hanging out at The Leon Pub, Rose & Thorn, or Miller's Ale House. But, most likely, I'll be at home playing video games or working on web stuff.
That's enough personal information for anyone who wants steal my identity. Oh, and I like cajun food. A lot. It's good stuff. Thai's awesome, too.
