About Me
Well, let's see. I'm a web and multimedia designer currently living in Raleigh, NC. In 2003, we moved to Tallahassee, FL from Herrin, IL so that my girlfriend could get her PhD at FSU. Now, we're here in the Triangle, probably for good.
My current profession has little to do with my BA. After pondering degrees in Computer Science and English, I finally decided to finish up at SIU-C with a Bachelor's in Radio & TV. During the summer of 1998, I was lucky enough to intern on the now defunct show Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher. Something happened along the way, and instead of writing for Hollywood I ended up designing web sites. I love my profession, though, so everything worked out nicely in the end.
Since January 2007, I've been freelancing fulltime with my company Swashbuckler Interactive. I design web sites, program with PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, develop Flash apps, and all that good stuff. So far, so good, although I often get cabin fever from working at home.
That's enough personal information for anyone who wants steal my identity. Oh, and I like cajun food. A lot. And bacon. But, really, who doesn't?
